WAMALA GROWERS UNION ELECTS BOARD MEMBERS

On the 26th June 2026, Wamala Union elected the new board members for the Union. According to the By-laws that govern cooperatives and Unions in Uganda, each Union must consist of a board of governors.
Each district that is part of the Union must submit their trusted member whom they do through casting votes. Wamala Union comprises of 5 Districts i.e. Mubende, Kassanda, Mityana, Kyankwanzi and Kiboga. Therefore the Board of Members should comprise of the 5 trusted members from each district and a treasurer.
The Board Members were elected on that day and each district submitted their representative.
