From Local Farms to Markets
Our journey began with a simple mission: to give farmers a stronger voice in the coffee value chain. By organizing into cooperatives and forming a union, we created a structure that allows us to aggregate coffee at scale, maintain quality control, and access better markets both locally and internationally.
Today, Wamala Growers Union connects rural farming communities to global coffee buyers, without compromising on transparency, traceability, or quality.

Our Story
A Union Built by Farmers
Wamala Growers Union is a collective of over 120 farmer cooperatives across the Mubende coffee belt in Central Uganda. We represent hundreds of smallholder farmers who have grown coffee for generations, combining traditional knowledge with modern processing and quality standards.
As a farmer-owned union, everything we do is rooted in improving livelihoods, ensuring fair pricing, and delivering exceptional Robusta coffee directly to buyers.
